First my MIL came and watched my sweet baby girl, Madilyn.
As we said our goodbyes and see you soons to baby girl we headed out.
Kylie Jade was in for a world of fun.
First we took her downtown to Chilis.
Just John, myself and Kybug.
We ordered and had fun just spending time with our eldest, we don't do that much.
She was enjoying all the attention and just goofing up.
Next we surprised her by taking her to Top It Off downtown frozen yogurt.
She tried a few samples and picked her flavors and we ate.
The entire time she was saying how excited she was for CCS Kindergarten Day.
The cashier told us how beautiful she is!

We got to roundup and signed in.
Kylie Jade immediately got a shirt, hat, horse and bandanna.
After she "dressed" the part we gathered in a small group of 7 and we were off with our Kinder group.
As we were waiting one of the elementary teachers walked down the hall she asked if she'd know anyone and I spoke up and said "you probably know my husband, her dad, John Rollan." She replied back "I know a John Rollan but he's not old enough to have babies." Almost as if on cue John walked up (from parking the car) and him and this teacher began talking...she did know my John!

The tour began and they walked the children around the school.
Kylie Jade was in love.
She went on and on about how she is in big girl school.
The best part was when the current Kinders saw all the PREK group walking through and they said "look at the babies!" Hahaha like they weren't in that position 9 months ago!
We toured the school then went into the classrooms.
First up for her group was craft, the teacher introduced herself and then the kids got started.
They made gingerbread cowgirls.
Kylie Jade did hers all by herself.

Next she went to the teacher I pray she gets classroom and they made a snack.
The teacher sat right beside her and talked with her, it was adorable!
She sat across from some goofball making jokes.
I can already tell she will love Kindergarten.

Next up was a story.
She was super thrilled they read the Cowboy Gingerbread Man.
All the kids were super into.
It was the longest story of my life.

They got to play outside for a little while and then go to the gym.
She played with her friend Lilly for a little while (she used to go to daycare with).
Lastly it was time to say goodbye to Kindergarten and Kylie was sad.
"I want to stay forever!" Not long and she will be singing a different tune, but I will enjoy it while it lasts.
As I type this I am getting a bit teary eyed.
It has been my dream since forever for my daughter to go to mine and John's alumni school.
We want her surrounded by Christians where she can profess her faith without shame or being told "no!"
In my heart I know this is where she needs to be.
My little angel is almost 5 years old and I am finally realizing how fast time is flying.
I never want to miss another moment, these years go so fast.
I treasure my girls heart and soul forever.
And, even though I will bawl like a baby, I will gladly let go of her hand so she can start her new adventure without me.
Because I know at CCS she will not only be getting a stupendous education she will be making life time memories and you can't put a price on that.
